• Adhere to all general rules or guidance on social gathering limitations.
• Gatherings of no more than 10 people.
• Maintained a 6-foot distance from between persons [originally if present for more than 10 minutes].
• Gloves and face coverings or masks for any personal interactions.
Any persons presenting ill or symptomatic should isolate until:
• Stay home if you are sick or at high risk for getting infectious illnesses.
• They have had no fever for at least 72 hours (without the use of medicine); AND
• other symptoms (cough, shortness of breath) have improved; AND
• at least 7 days have passed since the symptoms first appeared.
• Anyone in the household or in close contact with (within six feet for more than 10 minutes) should
self-quarantine for 14 days.

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to
more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).
-- Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a new strain that was discovered in 2019 and has not been
previously identified in humans.
-- Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and
breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory
syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
IV. Who was being tested and who is at risk in Colorado
Prior to open testing, the following were the controlled guidelines for COVID testing by the Colorado
