the workers will become exhausted (And possibly
sick) trying to keep up with the increased demands.
This exhaustion will result in a decrease of function
in the remaining seven workers who can no longer
keep up with the demands of the business. As they
struggle to keep up, they push themselves further
and become even more exhausted and even less
productive. The cycle spirals ever downward.
Returning to the body, if after two or three
treatments the patient returns to 70% of function,
they will no longer have symptoms. However,
the organ or tissue is only at 70 % of function and
the demands of the body have not changed.
Because the tissue or organ is only at 70% of
function, it must work harder to keep up with the
demands of the body which, like the worker
analogy above, will eventually exhaust it. As the
tissue or organ becomes exhausted, it becomes
less productive. Eventually it will dip below the
symptom line and the symptoms will reemerge.
