2.3 Project team management
The basic project team consists of the project manager (and possible team leaders),
and a group of specialists assigned or recruited for the project.
The ideal project team will achieve project completion on time, within budget and to
the required specifications. They will do all this with the minimum amount of direct
supervision from the project manager.
Tuckman’s model of team development can be applied very well to project
teams:
