                           HR in different organisations




                             HR practices vary depending on organisational size, culture and
                             availability of HR staff.



               New forms of organisation have resulted in changing HR needs.  For example:

                    Project-based teams – will require multi-skilled employees and intensive
                     training may be needed.

                    Virtual organisations – geographical spread will make the management of HR
                     more difficult.
