                               A person specification defines the personal characteristics,
                               qualities and experience required by the job holder in order to do
                               the job well.


               Rodgers recommended that the following categories should be covered in a person
               specification.

                    Attainments

                    Disposition


                    Physical make-up

                    Interests


                    General intelligence

                    Special attributes


               5.4   Source candidates


               The final part of the recruitment plan.  Sourcing methods include the use of the
               internet and social media, recruitment consultants, job fairs, newspapers and
               journals, job centres, television and radio.
