explain the importance of learning and development in the workplace
describe the learning process: Honey and Mumford, Kolb
describe the role of the human resources department and individual managers
in the learning process
describe the training and development process: identifying needs, setting
objectives, programme design, delivery and validation
explain the terms ‘training’, development’ and ‘education’ and the characteristics
of each
list the benefits of effective training and development in the workplace
and answer questions relating to these areas.
