these are presented in the industry. Understand the importance of
being a responsible host to keep your customers, staff and community
safe.
In this course you will learn how to:
• Be a responsible host
• Understand the importance of keeping your customers and
community safe
• Gain valuable knowledge relevant to the Hospitality industry and
any Licensed premise
• Develop effective communication skills and ways of defusing a
diverse range of situations eg. Identifying intoxication
• Understand the legal requirements of the Sale and Supply of
Alcohol Act 2012
• Know the characteristics of the different alcoholic and non-
alcoholic beverages available and how these are presented in the
industry
• Learn the tools and equipment used for service of beverages
• Preparer a range of beverages, including cocktails and mocktails
