An Early Morning Awakening
Jim Sinclair is a successful world-class financier. He is remarkably successful in the business world, and the world is his playground. He was interested in spirituality and meditated regularly every morning and evening. One early morning in March 1984, he awoke to go to the bathroom. Bleary-eyed and in the hallway returning to his bedroom, he unexpectedly came upon a man standing about four feet from him. A lile over five feet tall, the short, slim, Indian man was wearing an orange robe. His hair stood out like a halo crowning his head. Jim stopped in his tracks, stunned. The two looked at each other. Jim glanced at the lock on the door protecting the hallway and saw that it was still closed. He was alarmed, and when he looked back, the man simply
disappeared. Although this type of experience had never happened to Jim, he thought he had experienced a hallucination and worried about his mental health.
Within weeks, the man returned. Jim, sitting in his meditation room with his eyes shut at about 4 p.m., felt an unusual presence. Opening his eyes, he again encountered this mysterious orange- robed guest. There was something attractive, commanding, intriguing, and holy about him.
