The presentation was delivered by an acclaimed
speaker on the topic CA Rakesh Sanghvi – Chief
Risk Officer, Qatar Islamic Bank. He explained the
evolvement of Islamic banking system over the
years and the rationale behind it. While explaining
how sharia compliant banking system is different
from traditional banking system, CA Sanghvi, fur-
ther, busted some myths associated with the Islam-
ic banking in a logical manner.
