Dr. James Rutka received the prestigious Cross of Ivan Mazepa. The Cross was instituted by the President of Ukraine in 2009 to honour significant contributions to the revival of national, cultural, artistic, spiritual, architectural, military and historical heritage of Ukraine and
for achievements in state, diplomatic, humanistic, scientific, educational and charitable activity.
