NICS Guide for Appealing a Firearm Transfer Denial

 In the event that the transferee is denied from being transferred a firearm they must be provided

with the tri-fold brochure instructions on how to appeal the denial.

 Enter the NICS transaction # on the box provided.

 Do not give the customer the NICS phone number.

 If your state uses a state agency for background checks talk to your shop manager for the process

of informing a customer on how to appeal their denial.
