FFL Licensed Dealers

 A licensed dealer who makes a purchase must provide the shop with a copy of his/her FFL

License and the dealer needs to complete a 4473 gun form answering only questions 1-7 and

sign and date the form. (First Cash Firearms Transaction Procedures pg. 3)

 The coworker will add the G# in the designated area on the gun form and firearm information

on 24-28. No Employee signatures are required on the 4473. (This is only for tracking purposes.)

 The Dealer’s copy of the FFL must have a signature.

 The FFL license cannot be expired.

 Staple the copy of the license to the ATF 4473 gun form.

 Place another copy in a shop file for future reference. (Customer may come back for another

purchase.)

 Faxed copy of the license is acceptable.

 If your shop transfers firearms to another shop, the shop receiving the firearms must have a

copy of the FFL in file of the transferring shop. The shop transferring the firearms out must have

a copy of the FFL from the receiving shop.

 The shops FFL license must be posted ready for viewing by an ATF inspector.
