1.5 Electric Traction Training CentreNljayawada:
Electric traction training centre, Vijayawada established on 13th February,
1979. Headed by Principal (Jr. Scale) reporting to Sr.0EE/OP/BZA. It has
sanction for 23 Instructors and equipped with 12 class rooms, Computer lab,
library and Simulators, Model car etc.

This training centre Imparts.
► Training to loco running staff on electric traction of S.C. Railway and other
Aly Running staff (ECoR, SR and SWR).
► Loco maintenance staff of S.C Railway.
► TAD Staff of all the divisions of S.C Railway.

Facilities provided In ETTC:
► In motion conventional (WAG-7/WAP-4) Loco simulator which was
commissioned on 14.07.2006 has been reinstalled in the new building and
inaugurated by GM/SCA on 06.02.2014.

► 3-Phase locos training started from January-2007 and imparting training
to all divisions of SC Railway, SW Railway and S. Railway.

► 3-Phase Loco Simulator WAP-7/WAG-9 with 06Nos Part Task Trainers
was installed at ETTC/BZA, commissioned on 01.05.2017 and dedicated
to nation by Hon'ble MR Sri. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on 15.06.2017.
