                     649 bp length for all samples.

                     PCR  by  DNA  extraction  from  40  chicken  cultures  demonstrated  20  samples  show

                     specific band similar to positive control of M. gallisepticum at 185 bp nucleotide pair.
                     Eight of the former samples give specific band at 207 bp nucleotide pairs similar to

                     positive control of M. synoviae.

                     CONCLUSIONS


                     1. According to the study for diagnosing swine enzootic pneumonia, specific antibody

                     was detected by ELISA testing in 13.7% of 581 serum samples tested and detection
                     of specific antibody against M. hyopneumoniae, although which was not detected by

                     both bacteriological PCR testing, demonstrated the disease is prevalent at a certain
                     rate in pig farms.


                     2.  Specific  antibodies  against  M.  gallisepticum  and  M.  synoviae  were  detected  in
                     27.4% and 46.5% respectively of a total of 456 serum samples of chickens and it was

                     confirmed that the cultures isolated from chicken samples were identified to be  M.

                     gallisepticum and M. synoviae by bacteriological and PCR testing.

                     3. Separate detection of causative agents of chicken mycoplasmosis M. gallisepticum

                     and M. synoviae in some chicken farms of our country and detection of both agents
                     in single sample reveals the farms are infected with causative agents of the disease.
