For Care Team Member Alyssa Prodigalidad, It's All About the Children

In just one year, Alyssa Rae Prodigalidad, Care Team Member I at HCP Glendora, has reached
Vitality platinum status. As if this were not impressive enough, she also uses her Vitality bucks
for just about everyone but herself.

She has purchased backpacks for her family, a baby book for her cousin, even a pearl necklace
as a gift item. For the children who come to HCP Glendora, she recently used her bucks to buy
new DVDs and toys for the pediatric waiting room.

“I wanted to give the kids a change of scenery,” she said. The Family Adventures DVD pack she
bought includes Shiloh, Duma, The Amazing Panda Adventure and Flipper. Round this out with
two dump trucks for the kids to play with, and her list of donated items for the children is
complete – that is, until the next time she purchases age-appropriate toys for the young
patients, which she plans to do as soon as her points are updated.

The kids are her incentive. “I love the kids here; they are amazing,” she said. “I just wanted to
help them out,” she said, adding that at Easter time, she bought small stretchy rubber bunnies
to give to the pediatric patients.

“When I see them smile, after I give them an immunization, it’s the best feeling in the world,”
Prodigalidad said.
