QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
SJ Higgins Group has developed and implemented a
comprehensive quality system that is accredited to ISO
9001.
The system has been designed to ensure that SJ Higgins
Group complies with all applicable legislation and provides
employees, contractors and clients with transparent
procedures and processes to maintain quality standards
and production Values.
In keeping with lean construction methodologies our
overarching company philosophy is the elimination of
“waste” across all constructions processes. From basic
waste reduction of site materials through to more process
orientated tasks for defect management, safety management
and environmental management.
The SJ Higgins Group have implemented a high tech,
web based, company intranet system which ensures that
all employees have immediate access to procedures,
legislation and the most up to date standard forms that are
the back bone of our Quality, Safety and Environmental
procedures.
EXTERNAL CERTIFICATION
SJ Higgins has a comprehensive Quality Management
System which is certified to International Standard 9001-
Quality Management Systems (issued 10/02/10)
INSPECTION AND TEST PLANS (ITP’S)
All contractors are required to supply SJ Higgins Group with
project specific ITP’s upon completion of their works. SJ
Higgins Group also completes high level ITP’s to double
check the quality of our contractor’s works.
HANDOVER
SJ Higgins has developed a comprehensive procedure to
ensure that projects are handed over to the client on time
and defect free. Our Quality System outlines procedures
that cover efficient management of defect inspections with
the client, Guidelines on producing best practice handover
manuals, how to manage miscellaneous equipment
transfers to the client and managing the final handover
process to ensure maximum client and end user satisfaction.
