THEMATIC APPERCEPTION TEST (TAT)

Picture 24 - Story 1:
The Red cross society of India conducts various workshops and live training
programs on First Aid and Quick response action of any nature be it accident,
heart stroke, or sun stroke etc. Many school and colleges take active
participation by inviting their team and conduct this nature of workshops. Mr
Sumit Wadhwa, principal to St Allen School Hyderabad invited the team of
Red Cross society

5 School prefects, 3
housekeeping staff, 2
faculties and 2 members of
the Red Cross society. The
day started off with various
theoretical lessons on
subjects like proper posture, attempting to rescue a heart stroke or
unconscious patient, carefully handling a road accident patient etc. This was
followed a practical session where a person had to act as a dummy patient
and various forms of training were imparted like holding the patient at the
right posture, mouth to mouth, pull back can’t of hit during a heart stroke,
immediate glucose treatment for unconscious etc. and most importantly
timely call to the ambulance.
