Alexis Sgouros
VP & Information Officer
Biography
Alexis Sgouros is vice president of analytics and Colorado Information Officer for Kaiser Permanente’s Care Delivery Technology Services group. He leads the Colorado region’s technology functions, medical record system, business intelligence, health information exchange, revenue cycle, clinical decision support and health plan administration systems.
Since 2013 Alexis has also been a member Kaiser Permanente Colorado’s Health Plan Leadership Team. His past roles at Kaiser Permanente include; Executive Director for IT Service and Delivery in the Northern and Southern California regions where had accountability for all business engagement and operations in the 14 hospital areas in Southern California and the 24 hospitals in Northern California; Area Technology Leader at the San Diego Medical Center; and project manager and programmer within the medical record space.
A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, Alexis spent eight years working with biotechnology companies bringing new products to clinical trials and to market prior to joining Kaiser Permanente.
In his spare time, Alexis is an avid runner and cyclist, he enjoys staying active and in May of 2014 completed the Kaiser Permanente Colfax marathon. Alexis is married to Marnie and they have two children.
As part of the KPIT Enterprise Team, our role is to be a trusted strategic business partner, a one-KP advocate, an innovation leader, and a delivery manager to the Colorado Region by providing end-to-end IT products and services.
Our mission is to provide technology enablement that supports KP’s differentiation in the market with affordable, quality solutions for the Colorado Region physicians, clinicians and staff and in support of our 12,000,000 members and patients across Kaiser Permanente.
