Biography
Elissa brings an extensive background to this important role with over 20 years of management experience in a variety of the delivery, implementation and support of information technology services. Elissa has spent the last 3 years in CD BIO serving as the Executive Director of Project Execution and Delivery team where she was accountable for ICD- 10 Large Program Implementation, SDLC Adoption, and several process improvement initiatives. Prior to her role in CD BIO she led the KP Health Connect implementations in Northern California for Revenue Cycle and Inpatient applications across 22 medical centers and hospitals. Elissa was responsible for the delivery the Meaningful Use Stage 1 program in Northern California.
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Elissa worked for IBM Global Services leading systems integration engagements. In this role, Elissa worked across different industries and technology platforms to successfully implement complex IT transformation programs. Elissa earned her MBA thru DeVry University, with a major in business and minor in computer science. She’s PMP Certified.

The CDTS KP HealthConnect® IT team is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of KP HealthConnect, Kaiser Permanente’s comprehensive health information system, which includes one of the most advanced electronic health records available. It securely connects over 10.6 million members to their health care teams, their personal information, and the latest medical knowledge, leveraging the integrated approaches to health care available only at KP.
