Ralph Bowman

Biography
Ralph Bowman has more than 20 years of IT experience in a health care setting. Prior to being named vice president of CDTS-NFS, Ralph served as executive director of IT Capital Project Delivery for CDTS-NFS where he was responsible for delivering IT infrastructure and applications in support of Kaiser Permanente’s $40 billion 10-year capital projects plan. Ralph also led the IT launch of the Next Generation MOB program at Kaiser Permanente, partnering with facility design, clinical operations and technology to enhance care delivery models and improve the member and clinical staff experience.
Prior to joining KP in 2005, Ralph worked at UCLA Medical Center where he led IT operations and strategic planning activities to support hospital operations. At St. Jude Medical, Ralph managed the clinical data management system that supported the clinical trials in the U.S. and Europe.
Care Delivery Technology Services – National Facilities Services (CDTS-NFS) manages facility-based technologies for Kaiser Permanente, including technology infrastructure and clinical technologies for the organization’s 39 hospitals and more than 650 medical office buildings. We operate in every hospital, in every medical office building (MOB) and in every region.
The CDTS-NFS leadership team is responsible for managing several strategic programs for Kaiser Permanente, including technology to support the organization's $40 billion 10-year Capital Plan, Medical Device Integration Program, Next Generation MOB program, among others. We also provide technology support to National Facilities Services.
The Project Portfolio Management Center of Excellence provides process, tools and data to optimize CDTS delivery of KP business and IT strategy with value realization.
