Desiree Gandrup-Dupre
VP & Information Officer
Biography
Desiree Gandrup-Dupre is VP and Information Officer for CDTS-Northern California (NCAL) and Technology Innovation. In addition, she is the accountable IT executive for the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. Before assuming the role as CDTS-NCAL and Technology Innovation VP in July 2017, she was VP of the CDTS National Facilities Services IT team, where she oversaw the opening of three new hospitals in Northern California and the opening of the San Diego Medical Center. Her team was instrumental in opening five Reimagining Ambulatory Design (RAD) clinics in the Southern California region, now spreading to other regions..
Desiree’s leadership has been influential in the approval of the Medical Device Integration Program (MDIP), automating biomedical device information into KP HealthConnect to enhance patient care. She recently led her team to complete delivery of the enterprise-wide Infrastructure Program that brought wireless, wide-area networks, local-area networks, and voice capabilities to all medical centers.
Desiree lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two active boys (12 and 10 years old) participating in USA Swim team meets, golf classes and occasionally getting in some weekend travel or concerts..
