Approval and closure of NRCCA Responses will be at the discretion of Sun Corporate Quality Assurance
designee. All NRCCAs will remain open until problem-solving requirements are met.

               III. Containment

Suppliers are responsible for developing a process to protect Sun from receiving material that does not meet
the quality requirements and specifications set by Sun. Suppliers must include at minimum elements of the
                   following process of containment.

                       a. Controlled Containment
Suppliers may be placed into Controlled Containment as a result of Sun or Sun customer
receipt of defective material. Suppliers will be required to take immediate actions to cease
                          shipping defective material.
                          These actions include:
                                 • Sending 100% certified materials/components for all shipments to Sun.
                                 • Marking certified components as agreed to by Sun.
                                 • Sending certified replacement components to replace suspect components in-transit
                                     and in Sun inventory.
                                 • Utilizing a Certified Component identification label to identify certified shipments.
                                 • Collecting daily sort data and reporting findings to Sun.
                                 • Use of third party services to provide inspections.

Suppliers will be released from Controlled Containment once the NRCCA response has been
                          approved.

               IV. Supplier Development
Sun will provide assistance to suppliers having trouble meeting performance levels and specifications set by
                   Sun. Assistance may include:

                              • Resolution of critical issues
                              • Assist suppliers with improvement activities
                              • Work with potential suppliers to improve capabilities to be added to the Approved Supplier

                              • Conduct specific training when a need has been identified.

               V. Supplier Quality Meetings
Poor performing suppliers will be required to attend Incoming Quality (IQ) Meetings when their
performance drops below acceptable levels. Meetings are mandatory and will be held at Sun.

The purpose of IQ meetings is for Suppliers to present containment and corrective actions to improve their
performance in the deficient areas identified by Sun. Suppliers can be called to attend IQ meetings for
                                 • Poor Quality
