Closet Pantry Food Drive

West Mifflin, PA. The West Mifflin Middle School
instituted a food pantry for its students. They are able to
receive needed food and clothing. This will assist them
with evening and weekend meals as well as appropriate
clothing for the season. The GCU GoGive! program
allowed us to shop for those needed items to help
initially stock the pantry. Stacy Galiyas and Bree Thompson (West Mifflin teachers/food pan-

Gifting Train Sets for the Holidays

Valparaiso, IN. During the year, our group
obtains HO toy train engines, cars, track, and
transformers - then we repair, test, clean,
and package the train sets in boxes to give
to needy kids during the holidays. We also
include complete instructions and safety tips.
We usually put together 200 to 250 sets so
that various charitable organizations can give
them away. The wonderful GoGive! card was used to purchase boxes and
packing materials this year. We’re currently in the process of putting together
the boxed sets for the holidays!
