                                                                                 three such as Tongue-twisters, Memory Game, Riddle Time,
                                                                                 Match-Up, My Mystery Bag, Quiz Trade, Buddy Recitation
                                                                                 and Proverbs in Action, where students participated whole-
                                                                                 heartedly and enthusiastically. This enabled students to have
                                                                                 fun while improving their pronunciation and articulation of
                                                                                 difficult sounds. My Mystery Bag activity was full of fun
                                                                                 where students identified the object which was in the bag
                                                                                 and described it to their group mates to guess it. Students
                                                                                 came up with different relevant responses which added value
                                                                                 to the activity. Proverbs in action activity was conducted
                                                                                 where students of one group demonstrated the proverbs
                                                                                 through their actions and other group had to identify the
                                                                                 appropriate proverbs. On successfully accomplishing the
                                                                                 given task the students were applauded and awarded for
                                                                                 their efforts. A picture Game was played where students had
                                                                                 to look at different pictures of famous personalities,
                                                                                 characters from fairy tales and classics and then identify
                                                                                 them. They tried their level best to identify the names and
                                                                                 continued the string to complete the game. As a part of
                                                                                 English Week, students of grade 8 showcased a skit on the
                                                                                 importance of Labour Day which was indeed one of the
                                                                                 highlights of the English Week.
