GIHS- LANGUAGE WEEK 28/04/19- 02/05/19

GRADE 2 TO 10

The Hindi department of GIHS conducted a
Language week on 28 April to 2 May an initiative

undertaken to make the students understand that
Hindi is fun under the guidance and motivation of

teachers. Grade 2 students did an activity of joining

letters to make meaningful words. Activity was very
interesting that helped children improve their

vocabulary. Grade 3 and 4 recited poem on dreams
and aspirations. Activity helped the students know

how to read a poem in the right manner. Grade 6 and
8 read stories on ‘Success’ where students read and

spoke about their understanding of success in their

view which improved students reading and speaking
skills and helped them to know the true meaning of

success in the moral context. Grade 9 and 10
improved speaking skill and reading skill.

Overall it gave an excellent exposure to students to

demonstrate and appreciate the national language of India
