AFTERNOON SESSION

‘Drop Down Days’, also known as ‘off-timetable
days’ are filled with activities used to strengthen
students’ practical application of skills and provide
a deeper learning experience. It allows for learning
to extend beyond simply writing and taking notes.
The ‘Drop Down Day’ offered a chance for
students of Grade 1 to 12 to cement their theoretical
knowledge and illustrated how classroom
discussions are in fact useful to help make sense of
the world. The theme for the 2 May 2019 Drop

down Day was EXPO 2020: 'Connecting Minds,
Creating the Future', being expressed into three sub
themes: Mobility, Sustainability, and Opportunity.
