GRADE 2 T0 5 GIHS- PHASE TWO

Expo School Programme is thrilled to offer

initiatives that will inspire educators and

students to explore Expo 2020 and its global

outreach. The resources and programming will

spark creativity and imagination in classrooms

across the UAE.Centered around subthemes:

Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.

GIHS primary youngsters were very energetic

from the beginning for the most awaited

activity, Drop down Day, which was

scheduled and conducted successfully on

Thursday, 02/05/2019.

The activity commenced with a presentation of
some pictures of EXPO 2020, followed by the
discussion about EXPO 2020, Hyper Speed
World & renewable energy, Class 2 and 3

students participated in various activities such
as Poster making, Model presentation etc.
These activities helped them to develop their
inquiry and organization skills. All students

participated actively and included their
findings on future Dubai in Expo 2020.Class
4 and 5 students created new idea for “My
Sustainable Smart City” and researched on

Plastic as Energy – How a Rubbish Idea
could be a Great one! And U.A.E. feature
space project. Students were very enthusiastic

while doing this activity.
