Drop Down Day offered the students opportunities to strengthen their

practical application of skills and provided a deeper learning experience.

It also provided the students with the ability to be equipped in valuable

life skills which goes beyond the classroom context. Grade VII E

students decided to showcase the theme “Journey to Success with

Determination”. Students came up with a list of unimaginable pressures

faced by the Students of Determination both within and outside of

school. This day was received by students very positively being engaged

in healthy discussion and solving the issues in different ways to tackle.

Students reflected upon how their ideas’ can be implemented. They

demonstrated a world of possibilities by showing their creativity and

innovative ideas. Grade VIIF selected the theme “Visualizing United

Arab Emirates”. Students expressed their understanding of EXPO

2020, its theme and the facilities available in EXPO 2020.Youngsters

also explained about the theme CONNECTING MINDS;

CONNECTING FUTURE, the Mathematical Concept of Symmetry

in the logo. Four unique workshops immersed the learners in exciting

hands-on experiences to explore ideas that will shape up the future

Students of Grade 7 G focused on Mobility in Expo 2020 through

highlighting the topic “Expanding Horizons - Public Transport in

Dubai. To encourage and motivate Expo 2020 visitors to use more

public transport facilities and reduce carbon foot prints, students

organized Slogan Creation & Poster Designing. Learners enjoyed the

creative satisfaction through contributing positive thoughts towards

community development.
