Department of commerce-11 E & 12 E

The students in the department of Commerce, 11E organized

a seminar combined with a power point presentation on the
topic of “What is circular economy”. The presenters conveyed

the meaning of circular economy as an economic system aimed
at minimizing waste and making the most of the resources.

An approach which is in contrasts to the traditional economy

which has a ‘TAKE, MAKE AND DISPOSE’ model of

production. This was later followed by a discussion and a

Q&A session where the working and challenges that could be

faced due to this pattern of economy were discussed at length.

Grade 12E students choose the topic “Career opportunities

after Expo2020. Their presentation mainly focused on the

opportunities, challenges and required qualities that were

going to be required to make the best of the opportunities

after Expo2020.As the seminar commenced students at

length highlighted the challenges that might arise after Expo

2020 in this field and the demands like -the expected

educational, technical qualifications, expertise and

experience that would be required for making the best of these

opportunities. This day, wherein the structural classroom

lessons were replaced by activities, provided students with a
deeper learning experience and broadened their spectrum of

looking at things in a different perspective.
