A healthy Iftar goes hand in hand with the tradition: starting with dates,
then a glass of water or laban, and then start the meal with a warm bowl of
soup, a salad and the main course. Of course moderation is the key to
health!!!Starting your Iftar meal with a warm soup comforts the stomach
after a long day of fasting, replenishes your body with fluids and helps
prepare the digestive system for this blessed meal.
Don’t indulge more in dates as they surge your insulin levels.
List of simple tips to keep you and your family healthy and happy all through
the holy month of Ramadan,
1. Drink 8 glasses of water daily from Iftar to Suhour to prevent dehydration
and constipation.
2. Sleep for 6-8 hours a day to get sufficient mental and physical rest. Less sleep
means you will feel tired during the day which in turns leads to less activity.
