Story writing empowers the students to create worlds,
characters, climax, voices, outcomes etc which motivates them
th
to learn the language to express their imaginations. On 9
LITERARY CLUB September 2019 the Literary Club conducted Story Writing
Competition to inculcate the skills, enhance the creativity,
imagination and writing skills of the students. Students of
Grade 4 to 12 participated in the competition.
Students were divided in two batches. The first batch comprised
students from Grade 4 to 6.
The second batch included students from Grade 7 and 8. The
session began with Grade 9 students giving some general
guidelines on how to write an effective story.
They explained in detail the ways to present a story, the
importance of plot, ideas to develop the plot, how to select the
character and link all the thoughts and imagination to make a
story. These tips did help the participants with a clear idea on
how to pen down their plot and imagination and turn into an
exciting story. The students used their thoughts and creative
skills and got engaged in story writing. The young minds came
up with brilliant plots and wonderful narrations. Many
students turned out to be great writers and story tellers as they
expressed themselves with clarity and precision. As the
involvement was heart touching, the end result was a collection
of some wonderful and exciting stories.
The main objectives of the IT club are to keep the students
abreast with the latest developments in IT sector apart from
the regular IT syllabus. It gives them practical hands on
IT CLUB
experience and enhances their analytical and logical skills.
The club helps the students to bring out the best in students
and grooms individual’s capacities/potentials by providing
an environment to work independently. It helps the students
to be familiar with various career opportunities in the IT
industry and related job profiles.
With this motto, our IT club had two activities in this
meet.

The objective of documentary on tolerance is
• To give awareness to the students to bring to light a
certain cause or injustice with the hope that their film
will help galvanize the masses to demand change.
• To promote the tolerance in the country in the field of
education, community, workplace etc.
The objective of logo programming is to
• Improve the logical and creative skills of the children
Children could express their views on how to promote
tolerance in the country. They enjoyed creating the
documentary and discussed about it.
With the help of logo programming children made shapes
with repeat command. Children enjoyed and learned the
