ART & CULTURAL CLUB
ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
(1) WALL HANGING- To understand the theme and express
feelings and create their own model
(2) DANCEPERFORMANCES: “CONSERVING THE TREES OF
DUNES”- To emphasize on the added economic value of the
Ghaf which is ornamental in cities and towns, where it is being
extensively planted
Students of ART & CULTURAL club assembled in their
allotted classrooms along with their teachers in charge.
Students of grade 4 - 8 creatively used different materials like
cardboards, cutouts, color pencils, color papers etc. to prepare
various innovative wall hangings. They were creative and
mindful and beautifully worked on their craft work. They
worked in groups to make the unique designs which promoted
active learning, and develop critical-thinking, communication,
and decision-making skills apart from creativity.
Simultaneously a dance performance was being conducted on
the other end where all the students actively participated. The
performances started with prayer to the Almighty by a
student who volunteered singing. This was carried forward
with several beautiful traditional and modern performances
with graceful gestures conveying the ideas and feelings. The
colorful costumes also reflected the visual style of the
production in their performances. The performances were
judged by two teachers which was a surprise for the students
which added more happiness to the environment. Best two
performances were announced and awarded with a memento
on the occasion, supporting and encouraging the students to do
better each time. At the end of the program, a fun activity
was conducted by students of grade 12, that involved all the
students and brought out a blissful experience in a fun filled
atmosphere.
The main objective of the Happiness and Wellbeing club is to spread

In fact, students do learn more quickly when they do it through fun
games.
