Our students @ GIHS exploring Yardstick activities:
Seed Dispersal:
Grade 5 students identified that different seeds employ different methods
to travel away from their parent plants. They were able to construct the
models of various seeds and deduce how the seeds can travel long distances
by observing the structure.
Design a Vehicle:
Students of grade 5 also constructed different simple machines, observed it in
action and interpreted the uses of various simple machines. Students made a working
model of a crane by using different materials and simple machines provided in the
kit.
