speakers to entertain and top our tanks up. It was awesome to see a mix of rural
ladies having a great time together.
When Covid levels permit, Northland is looking forward to hosting more Network
Partner workshops. Our planned regional event topics include navigating MINDA
Live, pest control, farm recycling, and a farm success story - weaning to mating
and team building.

Taranaki Hub Leader
I love the opportunities that have come my
way through Dairy Women’s Network, and as
I am passionate about connecting people I
found the Regional Leader role to be second
nature to me. Since I started as a Regional
Leader in 2019 the role has pushed me to say
yes to things I would normally shy away from.
Although I am normally a behind-the-scenes
person, I gained the confidence to step up
into the Regional Chair role for the Allflex
and DWN2021 Conference in Taupo. With this
experience and newfound confidence that I’ve gained from my journey with DWN,
I have now taken a further step in my leadership and have become the new Hub
Leader for Taranaki. I am excited about this new role and looking forward to this
part of my journey.
Looking back over the past year as a Regional Leader in Taranaki, I can say that
even due to the current Covid situation in New Zealand the DWN team, members
and myself have managed to stay connected and continue learning through face-
