• Select the phase naming schema, sensor type and reference signal source. Generally,
the default sensor type and synchronization signal source will be correct; the naming
schema sets the phase labels used in the software and can be changed without
affecting PD measurements.

• Before adding PD sensors to the database, IAM shows a summary of the sensors that
will be added; some additional information needs to be entered depending on which
type of sensors are being added.
• When adding BUS sensors, the delay time between sensors needs to be entered; this
delay time is determined during sensor installation and should be recorded in the
