Safety Memo #26 (Q) LA County Free Testing and Updated COVID-19 Symptoms (COVID-19)

1. Starting today (4/29/20), free COVID-19 Testing in LA County is available to all construction workers.
Testing can be done even if you are not experiencing any symptoms. You
can register for a test at the following website:

If you do register for a test, please forward the results to Chris Kim and Brian Shin.
Please let your subcontractors know about the testing information as well. We all want to work
together to flatten the curve and fight this pandemic.

2. The CDC updated their list of symptoms for COVID-19.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with the any of these symptoms
or a combination of these symptoms may have COVID-19:

 Cough
 Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Or at least two of the following symptoms:

 Fever
 Chills
 Repeated shaking with chills
 Muscle pain
 Headache
 Sore throat
 New loss of taste or smell
