Safety Memo #26 (V) Pandemic Travel Protocol
Date: December 17, 2020
To: ACI ALL
[ Pandemic Travel Protocol ]
With rising numbers of COVID-19 cases across the country, we ask all ACI employees to comply with the
Governor’s Stay At Home Order and refrain from any non-essential travel plans outside of the state in
this pandemic crisis until further notice.
If you do end up travelling outside of the state, you will be required to follow COVID-19 protocol set by the
government mandating a quarantine for all incoming travelers, as stated below:
• Per CDC and Los Angeles County Department of Health’s guidelines, any employee who returns from
out-of-state travel will be required to quarantine for 14 days.
• Antigen testing will be done 3-5 days after your return to check for infection as well.
• In advance, a leave request form explaining reasons of travel should be submitted.
If you are thinking of traveling, consider the following:
• Is COVID-19 spreading where you’re going?
• Are you, or anyone you are traveling with, visiting, or spending time with at your destination or when
you return home, more likely to get very ill from COVID-19?
• Does the country, state, or local government where you are traveling to or returning to require you to
stay home for 14 days after traveling? This must be noted in the leave request form and submitted to
HR/Safety Admin at least two weeks before the leave.
• If you are required to stay home or if you get sick with COVID-19, will you have to miss work?
Above all, the safest thing to do is to stay home.
Safety is ACI’s number one priority.
