4.1.9.2 Provide immediate solutions to self-sufficiency problems, environmental sustainability, import
substitution, export generation and promotion of alternative sources of food.
4.2 Extension Program/Project Proposal Preparation, Evaluation and Approval
4.2.1 The manner of operation for proposal preparation until project assessment is as follows:
4.2.1.1 Preparation of the proposal by the project leader based on CEC plans;
4.2.1.2 Review by the College Extension Coordinator and to be noted by the Dean;
4.2.1.3 Submission of proposal to the Program Component In-Charge for validation;
4.2.1.3.1 Submission to the EST Director for recommendation to the VP-RDET;
4.2.1.3.2 Approved/Disapproved by the VP-RDET;
4.2.1.3.3 Project Implementation, Monitoring and Assessment; and
4.2.1.3.4 Submission of Terminal Report to the Extension Aide/Secretariat.
4.2.2 Extension Services Training (EST) Project Proposal Preparation
4.2.2.1 EST proposals shall be prepared in line with the identified needs of the community with
consideration to the flagship priorities of the Local Government Units of the province, DOST,
PCARRD and CHED relevant to the efficient delivery of extension services to the community. The
proposals shall cover areas for the strengthening of indigenous technologies and the dissemination
of matured technologies generated by the research undertakings of the University. Impact training
programs to be conducted shall be in support to instruction, research and extension and
community development programs of the University as a whole.
