             5.10.1.1.   A regular student carries the full load in a  given semester in the curriculum in which he is
                         registered.    In  determining  his  status,  credits  which  the  student  earned  in  some  required
                         subject will be added to those he is actually taking;
             5.10.1.2.   An  irregular  student  carries  less  than  the  full  load  called  for  in  a  given  semester  in  the
                         curriculum in which he is registered;

             5.10.2.  Students may be classified as to curriculum year as follows:
             5.10.2.1.   Freshman.  A  student  who  has  not  finished  the  prescribed  subjects  of  his  first  year  or  has
                       completed 25% of the total number of units required in his/her course.
             5.10.2.2.   Sophomore.  A student who has completed his/her first year course or has finished 26% but not
                       more than the 50% of the total number of credits required in his/her course.
             5.10.2.3.   Junior.  A student who has completed the first two (2) years of    his/her course, or has finished
                       50% but not more than 75% of the total number of units required in his/her course.
             5.10.2.4.   Senior.  A student who has completed the first three (3) years of    his/her curriculum or has
                       finished 75% but not more than 85% of the total number of units required in his/her course.

             5.11.    Academic Load
             5.11.1.   One college unit is defined as one-hour lecture, discussion, seminar, recitation or any combination
                      of these forms, in a week.  Laboratory or technical subjects or fieldwork shall be credited based on
                      BOR approved curriculum;
             5.11.2.   The  total  number  of  units  in  a  regular  semester  for  which  a  student  may  register  shall  be  in
                      accordance with the curricular programs the student is enrolled in;
             5.11.3.   During  summer  term,  a  college  student  may  register  nine  (9)  units  and  twelve  (12)  units  for
                      graduate programs;
             5.11.4.   No student shall be permitted to carry more than the required units in the curriculum, unless given
                      special permission by the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Campus Director.  The/ privilege of
                      carrying extra work may be granted a student who obtained an average of not less than 80% or
                      its equivalent in his previous semester and/or is classified as graduating within the school year;
                      provided further that there is no conflict in his schedule;
             5.11.5.   Teacher education students taking up Practice/Student Teaching of  12 units are not allowed to
                      overload or have any subject taken alongside Practice Teaching;
             5.11.6.   Students who are scholastic delinquents are not allowed to have overload; and
             5.11.7.   Students should take all subjects as prescribed and sequentially arranged in the curriculum of the
                      different course offerings.

             5.12.    Advanced Credits/Accreditation of Units Earned
             5.12.1.   A transferee from a recognized college/university shall be given equivalent credits if the subjects
                      he has earned from that school apply to any of the university curricula; provided that he meets
                      the following regulations on accreditation;
             5.12.1.1.   Subjects taken in State Colleges and Universities shall be validated; provided that the course
                         descriptions and the number of units of the said subjects are the same as those offered in the
                         University;
             5.12.1.2.   There shall be no invalidation of courses of foreign students taken in their home countries,
                         provided that the course descriptions and the number of units of said subjects are the same
                         as those offered in the University;
             5.12.1.3.   Subjects taken by a transferee from a non-state college or university shall be validated if the
                         grades obtained thereon are not lower than  75%, provided that  the corresponding course
                         descriptions and the number of units thereof are the same as those offered in the University;
             5.12.1.4.   If the number of units of a subject earned outside the University is less than that prescribed
                         for the course, the student shall enroll the offered subjects in the University; and
             5.12.1.5.   In  case  of  slight  differences  in  the  description  of  the  course  like  the  use  of  the  words
                         Principles, Fundamentals, Introduction, general etc., the concerned Department Chairman of
                         the College in concurrence with the College Dean where the subject is classified may issue a
