Providing a report:
Writing a memorandum is effective to inform colleagues,
superiors, or customers about something that has been finished or
something that is being worked on. Memorandums are the easiest
way for updating colleagues about an event or project, providing
a progress report, or reporting the findings of an investigation.
b- Summarise the memorandum's topic:
Business memorandums should be focused on just one
issue. Thus, a business memorandum should be concise, clear,
and easy to be read quickly by busy individuals. Keeping the
memorandum focused will help in ensuring that the message is
received and well understood.
c- Consider the audience:
The content, style and tone of the business memorandum
are affected by the intended audience. For instance, the style and
tone of writing a memorandum to inform the supervisor about
results of something is different from the style and tone of
writing a memorandum to colleagues to inform them about
organising a birthday party for another colleague.
However, the tone and language of the memorandum
should be perfect.
