4.4.5 Letter of compliant:
A complaint refers to something, which is wrong or not
satisfactory. In other words, it is a statement in which someone
complains about something.
A letter of complaint is the letter that someone writes to
report a bad experience or unsatisfactory situation. It is written to
submit a complaint to the authority when other endeavours e.g.
telephone calls, e-mails, etc. have failed to successfully deal with
the situation.
Therefore, a letter of complaint is the letter which is
written by the customers to the shop assistant, service provider,
manager, chief executive officer to express the inconveniences
created by some unexpected situations.
Types of letters of complaints:
There are many types of complaints, which are written in the
course of tourism and hospitality business dealings. These
complaints fall under two categories and have resulted in creating
two types of letters of complaints. These two types are routine
letters of complaints and persuasive letters of complaints, which
are indicated in the following points:
a- A routine letter of complaint: is the letter, which is
written to deal with any kind of routine mistakes made by
