Expressions of Grace
1. Grace is available to all men
We have noticed how Titus 2:11 says “the grace of God that
brings salvation has appeared to all men.” The grace of
Christ our Saviour does not segregate or discriminate. It is
available and accessible to all human beings. It does not
matter whether one is morally upright or a fraudster, a thief,
rapist, prostitute, a paedophile and social outcast; all have
access to the grace of God. There is no living person that
cannot be influenced and radically changed if they come
under the influence of the grace of God.
Paul, for instance, was a murderer and persecutor of the
righteous; yet, grace transformed him. The madman at
Gadara, in Mark Chapter 5, had lost his mind until grace
transformed him and gave him a new lease of life. The
import of that is that no matter the social advantages or
disadvantages, or the location in which a person lives or the
nature of work one does, grace is available to every human
being.
2. Grace teaches the recipients of grace.
The next thing to be noticed about grace is that it brings the
revelation of the Kingdom of God to those who receive it.
Grace teaches us the manner of God’s Kingdom, its culture,
values and accompanying lifestyle, all of which are
supernaturally unveiled and implanted in us. The
immediate effect is that what hitherto were mysteries of the
kingdom are comprehended once grace is accessed. It beats
me, therefore, when a person professes grace, yet they learn
