GRACE, Exploring Its Riches
other words, grace is not granted to us without its divine
power that enables us to please God. Therefore, those who
claim to live in grace but have no power to live by God’s
standards are impostors; they simply don’t know what they
are talking about.
The Power of Grace
I find Titus 2:11-14 as one scripture that expresses the
power of grace. It says,
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has
appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
looking for the blessed hope and glorious
appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus
Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might
redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for
Himself His own special people, zealous for good
works.”
This scripture does not expect the grace-filled believer to
be a weakling before the temptations of the flesh or
allurements of this present age. There are many things
grace makes a Christian capable of doing in this life. Let us
explore some of the things the grace of God can produce in
our lives as Christians.
