Expressions of Grace

have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what
he has will be taken away” (verse 29).

In other words, except grace is used or expressed, it is taken
                               away.

In this chapter, I want to highlight some important ways we
can employ, use, or express the graces God has deposited in
our lives. Grace is meant to produce certain results in our
lives, but only when put to rightful use. We already know
that the grace of God is a divine enabling made available to
us at the expense of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the
ultimate price in order to reconcile us to God and to enable
us do the works of God. Every Christian should understand
God’s grace on their lives and use the peculiar grace
                               appropriately.

                                          Grace in the Old Testament

There was a measure of grace put to operation under the
Old Covenant. Grace was not readily available to everyone
in the Old Testament. Those who experienced it searched
for it. It is reported, for instance that Noah FOUND grace.

“And the LORD was sorry that He had made
man on the earth, and He was grieved in His
heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man
whom I have created from the face of the earth,
both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of
