Grace Stations

You may have noticed how people get into marriage and
their lives just begin to take an upward trajectory. Things
begin to fall in place for them; their lives find direction and
favour with God and men. It’s just amazing. Sadly for some
others, after marriage all hell seems to break loose. Where
such happens, the couple, I counsel, should examine a few
things about their union.

tDo they understand how their marriage came about?

tDo they understand the purpose of the One who
designed marriage?
tAre they walking in the light of God’s purpose for
marriage?

tIs each partner fulfilling his or her divinely delegated
role in the marriage?

tHave they invited the Designer (God) into their
marriage?

tAre they consciously engaging the grace available in
marriage?

These are some of the questions any couple struggling to
find fulfilment in their marriage should sincerely ask and
appropriately respond to. There is a grace that comes with
holy matrimony; and the saints of God should walk in
divine wisdom to take advantage of this grace.
