GRACE, Exploring Its Riches

diligence, faithful and consistent service, humility, divine
intimacy and a strong hunger for the knowledge of the
Lord, the level of grace that will be accessible would be
greater than a believer who is just satisfied with a
lackadaisical, casual and noncommittal life to the things of
God. Though saved he would not have access to the greater
levels of grace available to the believers who pay the price.

Some Christians just want to be casual in their walk with
God. They desire no commitment. Such believers just
want to engage in the basics of the Kingdom, like church
attendance, or just being in church once a while, do what is
                               convenient, not necessarily what is expedient, for the Lord;
make no sacrifices for the Lord, and generally sit on the
fence in their Christian attitude. Such Christians can only
operate at the shallow levels of the mighty river of grace.
No surprise, such professing believers are often carnal,
superficial and prone to falling and rising, or even outright
backsliding. Hardly do such bring honour to the name of
the Lord as a daily lifestyle expected of a grace-filled
                               believer.

                                              Jesus and His Apostles

A study of the life of Jesus and His apostles would reveal
that Jesus often operated at a different level of grace than
                               His apostles. Matthew 17:14-21 says,

“And when they had come to the multitude, a
man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and
