Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program study in Taiwan

Category Program Title Award Period
• With the exception of summer classes, the
Huayu (Mandarin) duration of the scholarship is, in principle, from
Enrichment MOE Huayu Enrichment September 1 to August 31 of the following year.
Scholarships Scholarship • Summer classes run from June to July, or July to
August.
• The award period starts on August 1 of the
first year and ends on June 30 of the last year
of studying in Taiwan. The Scholarship will be
terminated when recipients graduate, or if they

• If recipients are unable to arrive in Taiwan in the
August of the first year of study, the Scholarship
becomes effective from the month of arrival.
However, the award period cannot be extended.

• If recipients are unable to arrive in Taiwan
and register at their university/college at the
scheduled time, they will be considered to have
