Language Programs

• When should I take the pre-degree Mandarin Language Program?
If you are a MOFA Scholarship recipient, the pre-degree Mandarin Language
Program must be taken in the first year prior to entering the degree program.
You will not be able to take the pre-degree Mandarin Language Program once
the degree program starts.

• Where do I register for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL)?
Which language level should I register for? Will my scholarship agency
pay for my TOCFL registration fee?
You can register for TOCFL 2-4 weeks prior to the test date at http://www.
sc-top.org.tw./english/eng_index.php The registration fee is NT$1,600 and
will not be covered by your scholarship agency. MOFA Scholarship recipients
should register for Level 2. MOE Scholarship recipients should register for
Level 3.
