BROOKSIDE APARTMENTS
New 200,000sf residence hall with apartment style amenities for (122) units to house (500)
students. Program consists of two 6-story towers with a 1-story connector building between the
two. Each floor will have a student lounge area, banquet room and small kitchen, student activity
spaces and common area spaces, (40) seat café with outdoor seating, conference/presentation room
with a (125) seat multi-purpose room. Project has received LEED Gold Certification.
BIKE PATH
New (2) mile bike path extension that will run along the White Horn Brook to the O’Neill State
Bike Path.
FINE ARTS CENTER
Phased renovation and expansion project of existing Fine Arts Center. The building has (10) pods
for the Arts Programs, where (2) pods will be removed for a new classroom building. The exterior
of the building, old 1960’s concrete structures, renovated with a more traditional brick exterior.
Phase 1 is completed and included upgrades to segments of the buildings heating, cooling and
ventilation system throughout. Phase 2 is for a new structure, of approximately 55,000sf with
connecting spaces to the pods to remain. The new building will serve as the hub for the Art Center
for art, music, and theatre. The mechanical and electrical systems are designed to provide utilities
for the remaining pods.
