Who has chaff in place of substance?
Who searches for gold in Sokoto?
When there is enough in his sokoto?
Who slaughters our legal tender?
On the alters of foreign goods?
Who aids and abets inflation
Through the neglect of our local goods?

It is he who craves for foreign products
Like a babe for a suck.
It is he that is blessed with a sea
Yet stretches for a pond.
Be wise, be discipline, be patriotic.

Go for big bull instead of 'CAPTAIN COOK'
'ZOBO' in place of 'FIVE ALIVE'
Aba and Kaduna textile materials
Rather than imported Holandis

Let's value and promote our products
For this makes way for employment,
National unity, and foreign exchange.
